A not so sad story

Breaks my heart

When I've longed for your arrival,

As it tears me apart,

And my mind is in denial,

My life is messy,

Scattered dreams and thoughts around every corner,

And for you I got all dressy,

So I just cried in my pink pajamas for being the unhappy daughter.

I questioned everything and everyone,

I hated the world, I felt empty and it petrified me,

But blamed it on none.

How can I be okay and absorb it in,

How can I let it go when in my mind a fragment of hope you've been.

I screamed, yelled and tore my teddy bears,

I listened to sad songs, it rained.. so I said some prayers,

Oh then I decided to ignore it cause that's what I do,

I grabbed some cookies and watched Sherlock without Y.O.U.
