And I just let it go

I saw you yesterday and unfortunately I noticed that you did glow,

I gave you a side glance and my stupid eyes dilated cause they saw a rainbow,

Flashbacks haunted me, questions of 'what-ifs' but I just let it go,

I stupidly looked at you once again and waved hello,

Your eyes pierced me and ironically Coldplay were singing yellow,

We had so much to articulate but we didn't, it died a while ago,

I had to shake these thoughts off, I had to bury my sorrow,

So I decided to let it go,

But we'll never know what may happen tomorrow?
